A CELADON AND RUSSET JADE 'MOUNTAIN' GROUP
17TH CENTURY
The boulder is deeply carved to one side with a pair of deer in a mountain setting. The other side is carved in low relief with a pair of figures in a mountain landscape with pavilions and pine trees. The stone is of a pale celadon and grey tone with russet inclusions.
