A FAMILLE VERTE BISCUIT DECORATED DISH
KANGXI UNDERGLAZE BLUE SIX-CHARACTER MARK WITHIN A DOUBLE CIRCLE AND OF THE PERIOD (1662-1722)
It is decorated to the interior with floral sprays and rocks in shades of yellow, green and aubergine, all on a ground incised with two confronting dragons writhing around a flaming pearl amongst clouds. The cavetto is further incised with floral sprigs including lotus, peony and prunus. The exterior is similarly painted and incised with dragons.
