KANGXI PERIOD (1662-1722)
The brush pot is painted with a scene of Shoulao holding a scroll seated on rockwork beside a lingzhi fungus, flanked by a crane and a deer. His staff is hung with a double-gourd flask and a bat hovers above. The base is modelled with a circular recession.
