It carries a branch of pomegranate in its mouth and has its three legs tucked beneath its body. The stone is of a celadon tone with russet inclusions.
2¾ in. (7 cm.) wide, on wood stand
Provenance
Accquired by the vendor's late brother Brig. Richard John Randall (1921-1997) stationed on Kowloon Island (1954-1956) reputedly in 1955. Later gifted to his father Col. Richard Walter Kimble Randall OBE and mother Winifred Elsie Randall.
