YONGZHENG PERIOD (1723-35)
The central roundel is painted with the elegant fairy Magu wearing long flowing robes and holding a lingzhi in her hand, accompanied by a deer holding a double peach and a boy carrying a basket of peach, a prunus in the background, all surrounded by a keyfret border at the well below sprays of peony at the rim.
15.3/8 in. (39 cm.) diam.
Provenance
A Private European Collection acquired in England and France in the 1960s-1990s.
Reputedly acquired in France in the early 1970s.
