A YIXING TEA CADDY AND COVER
EARLY 20TH CENTURY
The caddy is of square section and each side is modelled in relief with alternating panels enclosing cranes and boys at play in a garden. The four corners of the shoulder are modelled with ruyi heads. The domed cover is modelled in relief with five stylised flower heads. The base is stamped with a seal reading Jixiang zinifang.
