Contemporary polished calf, single gilt border to covers, spine gilt, two compartments lettered, speckled edges (rubbed at head and foot of joints, slight loss at foot, lower joint cracking at foot).
Lloyd's work supported Newton's policy on the great currency issue against the doctrinairism of Locke. The other argues for lowering the value of the guinea, and also draws attention to the fact that following the death of George II in 1760 there had only been a single issue of silver coinage.
