(Title very lightly stained and with two library stamps and three ownership inscriptions, two deleted.) 19th-century green roan-backed boards (title rather faded). Provenance: Giulio Bresciatini (17th-century signature on title) -- Compagnia del Gesú (book label). FIRST EDITION of Alunno's work in which he listed, in alphabetical order, all the most elegant words and expressions used by Boccaccio. Adams A-842 (one imperfect copy); Renouard 127/2: 'fut en grand estime, et eut un grand nombre de lecteurs'.
