Of traditional slightly bulbous form, the front and sides repoussé and chased with scrolling foliage and coils, the shaped openwork handle also with scrolling foliage and set with cabochon varicoloured hardstones, the handle suspending a chain and two shaped pendants with en plein enamelled reserves and suspending varicolour hardstones and pastes, the front set with an en plein enamel plaque depicting Kissing Rite: Feast at the Boyar Morozov's Home, after Konstantin Makovsky, below a cabochon hardstone, marked under base and on handle
