Circular on three lapis lazuli ball feet, the rim with applied wirework frieze of scrolls set with rose-cut diamonds and rubies, the Norse dragon handle set with a ruby in top of its head, rose-gold interior

Provenance
This was originally owned by John Stroyan, Unionist MP for West Perthshire, Deputy Lieutenant, JP and Chairman of South African Breweries Ltd. who presented it to his daughter Gertrude Stroyan on her marriage in 1920 to Edward Hasell and then by direct descent to the current vendor
