Shaped square base with shell corners, the faceted knopped stem with detachable nozzle, engraved underneath with initials AG; also a George III fluted oval chamberstick, by Daniel Smith and Robert Sharp, London, 1786, with bead border and detachable snuffer, engraved inside the rim of the capital and again on the nozzle with initials H over T.W
