Plain cylindrical with bead borders, ebonised wood handle terminating in ivory bead at right-angle to spout, pull-off cover with collapsible handle and small hinged cover to central aperture, base prick-dot engraved in German Zum andencken von Carl Jacob Krüger, Riga den 20 April 1791, and inscribed below this with a later inscription dated Copenhagen, 1856
