Painted with a rural scene, a shepherd seated sleeping beside two goats and a lady with a basket in an extensive landscape, the yellow-ground neck and foot with a bucranium and swags of flowers between blue bands, the neck with foliage scrolls and a flowerhead, the double scroll handles enriched in ochre and blue with straps and buttons, the reverse white, the stepped domed cover with a bouquet of fruiting and flowring branches, blue and ochre borders
