A ROMAN GLASS HEXAGONAL BOTTLE
SYRO-PALESTINIAN, CIRCA EARLY 1ST CENTURY A.D.
Opaque white in color, blown in a three-part mold, the bulbous body with six rectangular panels framed by columns, each panel containing a vessel in relief, with a repeating pattern of a hydria, an amphora and a krater, fillets suspended below the panels, with alternating large and small fruits below each column, the shoulders with six arches, each containing a dome-shaped object, on a ring base, the cylindrical neck flaring slightly toward the in-folded rim
