With a formal procession at night with a woman and a girl moving to the right, perhaps Demeter and Persephone, the leader depicted frontally, her head turned back looking at her companion, wearing a long chiton and a himation draped over her left shoulder and over her extended left arm, holding a torch in her left hand, a footed situla in her right, the girl following behind, wearing a peplos, her hair bound, balancing a woven basket on her head, supported by her hands; a band of meander below, dotted ovolo on the shoulders, an inverted heart-shaped palmette with scrolling tendrils on the reverse at the join of the carinated handle to the body
