CIRCA EARLY 5TH CENTURY B.C.
The upper end terminating in a central lion head with upturned ears and a thick radiating mane, with incised details continuing along the shaft, flanked by recumbent lions with their paws together, a pin preserved through the paws on each side, terminating below in a palmette flanked by two curving snake heads
7 in. (17.8 cm.) high
