A FINELY CARVED WHITE JADE 'SCHOLARS' PENDANT
QING DYNASTY, 18TH/19TH CENTURY
Of rectangular form, the pendant is carved in shallow relief with a pair of dragons to the top, on one side depicting two scholars deeply ensconced in conversation beside rockwork, one holding a basket of flowers, the reverse with an inscription. The well polished stone has an even white tone
