A SMALL INCISED BLUE GLASS VASE AND AN OVERLAY BLUE GLASS BOX AND COVER
QING DYNASTY, 19TH CENTURY
The vase is finely incised and gilt on the globular body with a butterfly in flight amongst sprays of lotus, hibiscus and lingzhi; together with a carved overlay blue glass box and cover of oval section, carved on the body with a band of keyfret in-between line borders, the cover is decorated with an eternal knot.
