AN IMPERIAL CLOISONNE ENAMEL WATER POT WITH INTEGRAL STAND
QIANLONG INCISED FOUR-CHARACTER MARK AND OF THE PERIOD (1736-1795)
The water pot of compressed globular form is enamelled with a band of scrolling lotus on the body between two registers of ruyi-head, all against a bright turquoise ground. It is supported on a gilt integral tripod stand incised with classic scrolls. The gilt base is incised with the reign mark.
