QING DYNASTY, 17TH/18TH CENTURY
Of rectangular form, the box comprises a narrow cover and two rectangular trays, each neatly keying into the tray above, set on a base frame joined at the top by a rectangular handle. The cover is held in place by a rod through the handles. The corners of the cover, base frame and trays are reinforced by huangtong mounts.
