Lot Essay

US$20,000-30,000

The present Rolex is a highly collectable and very rare example of a "Day-Date" model featuring a full baguette-cut diamond-set dial. Commonly, baguette-cut diamonds are set on "Day-Date" models at 6 and 9 o'clock only, whereas this rare example here, offers a full setting to the dial. Offered here at Christie's for the first time and in overall excellent condition, the present scarce watch will certainly gather the interest of avid "Day-Date" collectors.
