Jean-Marc Vacheron started his own workshop in 1755. Cultivated by generations of gifted watchmakers, the brand is not only one of the oldest in the world but also one of the most prestigious. In 1819, Vacheron joined forces with Francois Constantin and re-named the company Vacheron & Constantin. Ever since the first timepiece produced in 1755, Vacheron Constantin has manufactured numerous elite and rare timepieces for famous collectors including Henry Graves Jr. and James Ward Packard.
