A CLOISONNÉ ENAMEL TRIPOD CENSER
LATE MING DYNASTY, 17TH CENTURY
The compressed body of the censer is supported by three elephant-head gilt-bronze feet with paw terminals. The exterior is decorated with large stylized lotus blooms borne on leafy tendrils, below a ruyi-head border encircling the narrow waisted neck, with a pair of chilong-form loop handles to each side.
