Composed of barrel, biconical and disks beads, centered by a v-shaped bead engraved with an inscription in Babylonian cuneiform, reading: "(to the goddess) Ninlil, Kurigalzu (dedicated)"

Lot Essay

Kurigalzu is the name of several Middle Babylonian Period Kassite Dynasty kings. Many beads from this period have been found with inscribed dedications by them to the god Enlil or his consort Ninlil.
