The thin plain hoop round in section, with two large granules on either side of the join to the oval bezel, scalloped along the perimeter, each petal with a single Greek letter, forming the inscription XEPEHA\KP\k[O]\KL\kaYE, "rejoice-enjoy," recessed in the center and set with an earlier flat carnelian engraved with the head of Lyssipan Hercules in profile to the left, a diadem in his wavy hair, his thick voluminous beard curving outward
