woodcut, circa 1496/98, on laid paper without watermark, a good, even impression from the Latin Text edition of 1511, trimmed to or just outside the borderline, sheet edges reinforced with thin Japan paper on all sides, a 78 mm. horizontal tear at left, numerous repaired tears, otherwise in good condition
