Blandy's Sercial 1910
Bottled 1984, recorked 2003. Metal capsules. Stencilled bottles. Levels into neck
Tasting note: A monument of a wine, left a big impression at the Blandy Bi-Centennial tasting in 2011. First time I tasted this wine it was more meaty and with smoked bacon aroma. Still very youthfull. A year later: very complex perfumed nose of dried rose petals, lavender and cumquat. Tight tangy taste, high acidity. Clearly concentrated acidity by long maturation in casks. Great Sercial. Last tasted September 2011, E.V.
