A mid 17th Century Provincial apostle spoon,
the terminal with traces of gilding, the nimbus pricked with initials, the fig-shaped bowl with short rat-tail, struck twice, once on the stem, once in the bowl, with an untraced maker's mark, initials possibly C.R. in a shaped punch with three stars, the stem also stamped with a further mark, possibly a goblet in a heart-shaped punch with four stars, probably circa 1640.
