The bowl and cover each interspersed with six stylised shuangxi characters and suspending butterflies surrounded by wutong leaves and gourds on scrolling foliage, the interior painted with 'the three friends of winter', and a ruyi sceptre tied with scrolling ribbons and gourds on foliage, with apocryphal Jiaqing underglaze blue six-character marks to the base and centre of cover
