in the neo-classical taste, on a panelled rising oval base with reed and tie border and with a tapering hexagonal body applied with foliage, floral swags and with leaf-capped harp-shaped handles, the foliate-applied rising cover with pointed finial, the body with two oval cartouches engraved with crests, the lip of the cover with presentation inscription, on a mahogany plinth, Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co.
