With swamped barrels each chiselled with ornament including a raised silver-damascened panel at the breech, flat bevelled locks each chiselled with foliage, moulded walnut stocks each with bands inlaid in silver wire and encased in silver on the butt, the underside of each butt with filigree scrollwork and the upper surface embossed with raised pellets, rosettes and diamonds with further filigree-work between, spurred pommels each with large scrolls in relief with nielloed foliage between, iron trigger-guards, and long silver barrel-sleeves each embossed with foliage and incorporating a false ramrod (mechanisms seized, iron parts with some discolouration and corrosion marking)
