With single-edged tapering blade double-edged towards the point, silver hilt comprising disc guard with two short down-curved serpentine quillons, and tapering grip embossed with foliage and flower-heads against a punched ground, in original scabbard encased in silver for most of its length, the mounts embossed en suite, and with central textile-covered band (worn smooth, almost certainly velvet)
