With three-stage sighted barrel with gold-lined maker's mark on the octagonal breech-section (similar to Neue Støckel 8073), flat bevelled lock chiselled with a vignette involving a mounted huntsman chasing a doe through a woodland landscape, figured moulded walnut half-stock (reduced from full) carved in low relief with scrollwork around the barrel-tang and the comb, raised cheek-piece, brass mounts cast and chased with scrollwork inhabited by or framing vignettes of scenes of the chase, horn fore-end cap, and white staghorn tipped wooden ramrod
