With slender two-stage octagonal to round barrel with traces of signature towards the breech, border and scroll engraved frame (engraving worn), brass drum, long cocking-lever, flat bevelled lock engraved with foliage and flower-heads (plate possibly an older replacement), plain iron trigger-guard, later hardwood butt fitted with a white metal butt-plate engraved with a trophy of arms
