With two-stage sighted barrel struck with two maker's marks on the octagonal to polygonal breech-section, rounded border engraved lock, figured walnut full stock (old pinned repair to wrist, fore-end damaged around forward ramrod-pipe), iron mounts including pierced scrolled side-plate and trigger-guard with lightly engraved finial, and wooden ramrod
44 1/2in. (113cm.) barrel
This musket bears more than a passing resemblance to a Danish M.1685 musket
