With blued octagonal nitro sighted barrel, half-length tubular magazine, blued action fitted with a Lyman folding aperture sight on the upper-tang, hammer and under-lever each retaining some faded original case-hardened finish, 13in. (33cm.) pistolgrip stock with shotgun-style butt, chequered grip and fore-end, chequered horn butt-plate with Winchester monogram, horn pistolgrip-cap marked 'WINCHESTER REPEATING ARMS CO.', blued iron sling-mounts, and much original finish throughout
24 1/4in. (61.5cm.) barrel
Sold with a certificate from the Cody Museum confirming date of shipment from the factory as 15 November 1911
