Accompanied by a Ulysse Nardin Certificate dated March 15, 2002, wooden presentation box, product literature, leather folder, and outer packaging.

The Planetarium Copernicus model by Ulysse Nardin combines both Ptolemy's geocentric universe with the Earth at its center and Nicolas Copernicus' heliocentric universe with the Sun at its center and makes it possible to define astronomically the exact astrological position of the planets in our solar system. As the planets circle the Sun, the wearer can also see the angles at which they face each other when viewed from the Earth. The five rings with the planets turn in relation to the Planetarium's fixed Earth. Mercury and Venus turn counter-clockwise, and Mars, Jupiter and Saturn turn clockwise. The Moon orbits the Earth in 29.53 days, which is the exact time between full moons. The outermost ring with months and the signs of the zodiac rotates clockwise and makes a complete revolution in a true year, 365 days, 5 hours, 48 minutes and 46 seconds, so no corrections are needed for leap years.
