Lot Essay

This model is highly comparable to a 'Francell' secretaire designed by Ruhlmann for the Salon des Artistes Décorateurs in 1930.

Another secretaire of this model, stamped Dessiné par Ruhlmann Edité par Porteneuve was sold at Bonham's, New York, 17 December 2008, lot 4322.
