Edo Period (late 18th-early 19th century)
Decorated in iroe-hiramaki-e and takamaki-e and inlaid in mother-of-pearl on a sparse nashiji black ground with Daruma, the reverse with a model of a karashishi on a red lacquer stand and a ruyi sceptre, nashiji interior, fundame rims
