Portraits of members of the Osborne family, political figures including Lord Palmerston and Gladstone; royalty; Ellen Terry; officers of the 57th Regiment; a portrait of a '[?Sholapur] Dwarf taken with a home-made camera'; natives in India including a group portrait of victims of the Indian famine in 1877; cricket groups and theatrical groups.

It was a Mrs. Osborne of Newtown Anner, Clonmel who among others, encouraged the amateur Irish photographer William Despard Hemphill to produce a book on Clonmel and the surrounding area with mounted-in stereographs. This album was found in the Clonmel area and is thought to have belonged to a member of the Osborne family.
