Twenty platinum prints, 1¾ x 1½ in. to 5¾ x 3¾ in., two a warm brown tone, two mounted together on textured paper with pencil inscription Evan and photographer's monogram blindstamp, eighteen mounted on cream linen-textured card, the majority with grey card border ruled in pencil and photographer's monogram blindstamp, one mounted on double layer of card, each identified in ink in a later hand and four with photographer's bookplate on verso. Lot Essay

Including several portraits of his children Evan, Barbara and Geoffrey, his wife and and Miss Rose Longhurst (aunt).

The cream linen-textured card mounts are typical of those apparently used by Evans's son when mounting his father's prints after his death.
