The adjustable gilt-lined black tôle shade above a berried foliate boss issuing foliate-scroll branches, on a fluted column and fluted spreading base in a basket with pierced guilloche everted lip, fitted for electricity to a design by Michael Inchbald

Purchased by Michael Inchbald from Mallett, 26 February 1992, for £7,500, who electrified it to Inchbald's very detailed specifications and partially regilded some elements in the process.
