Lot Essay

Born in Cuba and immigrating to the United States through Canada in 1963, Saturnino "Pucho" Odio, worked as a barber and until 1974 when he dedicated himself to his artwork full time. He learned carving and woodworking while working as a carpenter and shoemaker in Cuba.
