MARK OF JOHN BRIDGE, LONDON, 1825
Oval, the ribbed shell and scroll handles terminating in lion masks, with en elaborate fruiting vine rim above a frieze of alternate shells and stylized tulips, engraved coat of arms to either side, the oval pedestal foot chased with a band of flowerheads, this band repeated around the cover which is engraved to either side with a crest
