The ease with which the Rossi family worked with Chillida was not simply possible due to the artist’s familiarity with etching, but as much for the welcoming and homely atmosphere created at the couple’s guesthouse in Ara Coeli. Concerned with form, texture and composition, the artist’s prints highlight the beauty of monochrome printmaking.
