Arguably no other artist responded to the seemingly limitless possibilities of scale presented by the monumental presses of the Stamperia d’Arte 2RC. Valter Rossi remembers being immediately struck by the artist’s humility following his work for UNESCO. Rossi thoroughly enjoyed the experience of working with Pasmore and vice versa. This was remarked upon in a 1982 review by Giulio Carlo Argan: Pasmore, he wrote, had “found a magician of a printer called Valter Rossi, a collaborator more than an interpreter”.
