A CHARLES II PROVINCIAL SILVER LACE-BACK TREFID SPOON
MARK OF JOHN PEARD (I), BARNSTAPLE, CIRCA 1680
With ribbed rat-tail flanked by die-stamped foliate scrolls, the trefid end with pronounced "ears", a vacant oval cartouche within foliate scrolls to front of stem at top whilst the back of stem is prick-dot engraved with date 1683 over initials H.D over P
