MAKER'S MARK INDISTINCTLY STRUCK THRICE , CIRCA 1695
With ribbed rat-tail between die-stamped foliate scrolls, similar decoration to front of terminal, prick-dot initials and date to back of terminal M.F over 1703 with later inscribed below N over ; also a late 17th century marrow spoon, no maker's mark probably London, 1696, with ribbed rat-tail to oval bowl flanked by engraved leafage, scrolling foliage all up the back of the stem and scoop
