The stands each circular with beaded border and lobed sides, on three scroll feet, one engraved underneath with initials, no. 97, the strainer circular and with openwork fruiting foliage and part-turned wood handle, pierced and chased with foliage, no. 98, one stand marked underneath, the other marked inside, the strainer marked underneath
