VARIOUS MAKER'S MARKS, LONDON, 18TH-EARLY 19TH CENTURY
Each fully marked, comprising a small shaped circular waiter engraved with armorial to field, marked for Robert Abercromby, 1737; a large shaped circular waiter engraved with a coat-of-arms, marked for Ann Craig and John Neville, 1740; a shaped circular waiter with gadrooned border and engraved field, marked for John Parker I and Edward Wakelin, 1766; a small circular dish engraved to field, marked for James Young, 1775; another small shaped circular waiter with gadrooned border, marked for Robert Jones and John Scofield, 1777; an oval shaped waiter with beaded rim and engraved with a crest, marked for John Scofield, 1784; a large circular waiter with gadrooned border and engraved field, marked for Peter, Ann and William Bateman, 1802; an oblong waiter with gadrooned border, marked for William Stroud, 1808; and a small square dish engraved with a crest, 1808, possibly marked for Andrew Fogelberg and Stephen Gilbert; together with a small silver circular waiter on three ball feet, marked for Sheffield, 1812, a pair of silver dishes repousse with blossoms and engraved with crests, Sheffield, circa 1830; and a Continental small dish, indistinctly marked
